Science without Morals?

It seems that science would greatly improve without morals. Not necessarily for humanity’s delight though… there would probably be more biological weapons and stuff… I only bring this up because I was reading an article in Scientific America about how scientists probably could create a machine that read someone’s mind but it interferes with personal privacy, which has to do with morals pretty much. So if you take that away you could easily create a machine like that ,and if you can create a machine like that then you cold probably create anything. Also the whole “Stem cell Research” controversy… it seems like the closer we get to creating something astonishing… well… the more controversial it gets… oh well… just my thought…

By the way, I’m not saying it shouldn’t have morals, I’m just stating that without them research would be faster and more things probably would’ve been created (probably at everything’s expense though )
