I miss the old Linkin Park, if anything I’m pissed that I can’t get their song “Dedicated” through iTunes, it was totally the bomb as far as awesome songs go. The new Linkin Park sucks, and not in the ‘they’re a bad band’ type of way, but in the ‘they used to be a million times cooler’ kind of way. And that’s the worst type in my opinion. Because if a band sucks because they’re not good, you only heard bad music, because they were a bad band, but if they used to be amazing and then they go to this level with all these terrible songs you just keep remember how they used to be. How they’d have this power, this energy, this emotion and … well, now they sound bored when they sing. The only mildly decent songs sound like an emo band should’ve sung them, because emo bands are good at the whiny “wahhh my life sucks” kind of thing. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like some emo bands, Fall Out Boy is the only one I can think of at the moment, but I liked Boy Bands back in the day and they were wussys too.
As far as Panic! At the Disco I can’t really say I like their music, but I do really enjoy the “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” song, it’s pretty catchy, my friend actually introduced me to the song. I had it on a Sing Star Karaoke game for the PS2 and was like, I really don’t know this song and she told me it was good, we sang it a couple times and then I bought the song. I just bought it actually via iTunes, a few minutes ago. My aunt got me and iTunes giftcard which makes buying music so much easier to buy music. Of course, it’s not your money and if you decide you’re not really listening to the song it’s not “damn, what a waste of a dollar” it’s “bummer, oh well, I still have some money on the giftcard, I’ll buy another one.” It brings back that “Oh well, who cares, I’ll just get a new one” attitude of childhood when you’d break a toy and it wasn’t anything really expensive so the parents would punish you, roll their eyes, and you’d get a new one for holiday(Chanukah/Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.) or your Birthday. Anyway, back to music, I’m a big fan of Three Days Grace, I really liked “Never Too Late” it’s got a great chorus “Even If I say/ It’ll be alright/ Still I hear you say/ You want to end your life/ Now and again we try/ to just stay alive/ maybe we’ll turn it all around/ ’cause it’s not too late/ it’s never too late ” It’s such a great, hopeful song. It’s got such a beautiful rock feel and it has that angst, but at the same it’s really hopeful. Though ‘Home’ is such a powerful song, it just blows my mind and it can be so true, how just because you live in a house, it doesn’t mean that it’s a home. ‘You always disappear/even when you’re here’ I can certainly relate to that. It’s how my family is, we’ll all be in the house all day at the same time and it’s like we’re home alone because we do our own things.
What I really enjoy is “Numb” by Linkin Park and “Pain” by Three Days Grace. They take the same issue and go about it different ways. “Numb” is someone who feels nothing, and they realize why and they try to escape it even though they “might end up failing too”. While “Pain” goes at it by “I’d rather feel pain than nothing at all”. Sometimes I think that they’re secretly response songs to each other.
“I’ve become so numb I can’t feel you there” and “Cause I’d rather feel pain than nothing at all”
LP complaining about how he’s number while TDG is saying they’re numb too, but they’d rather feel pain than nothing.
“Cause everything that you thought I would be/Has fallen apart right in front of you” and “This life is filled with hurt/When happiness doesn’t work”
TDG tells LP that it pretty much sucks when things don’t work out as you think they would be.
“Can’t you see that you’re smothering me” and “You know I’m always here for you”
People being around you all the time, even if they’re only trying to help, can feel like they’re being smothered.
“Become so tired so much more aware” and “You’re sick of feeling numb/You’re not the only one”
How going into such a state can make you realize a million things that you’ve never really looked at before.
TLC- I miss them so much. I remember I saw “Acts of Passion Gone Wrong” on VH1 or some channel on it and I was like “Haha, I remember when Left Eye set her boyfriend’s house on fire” and then I change to that channel and there on my TV screen is a picture of Left Eye “Next at number ## is TLC member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes” blah blah blah. That was just shocking, talk about perfect timing, I hadn’t missed a thing. TLC was a true “Girl Power” band in my opinion, all the other bands seemed to be “If we’re sexy, we have power” and these days it’s “Get into everyone’s Pants” it’s ridiculous. But TLC acted like themselves and their lyrics were just so powerful, honest and took a real look at the world. “You can buy your hair if it won’t grow/You can fix your nose if he says so/You can buy all the make-up that Mac can make/But if you can’t look inside you/Find out who am I, too/Be in a position to make me feel so damn unpretty” It’s true, all the ads around girls these days, they need to be thin, have big busts, I’ve already made a rant about how the media and society values such ridiculously unreal figures. “My outsides look cool/My insides are blue” a truth about life, just because you work so hard to look cool/pretty/tough/etc. you can still feel self-conscious “Everytime I think I’m through/It’s because of you” How people’s criticisms can make you just want to give up, you get tired of it. I really like the PV of this song. It shows how society tells us we need to be these things, and the scary prodcedures people actually do go through to attain such an unreal body. It shows a couple and the guy wants to the girl to get huge breast implants and at the beginning you can tell the girl isn’t happy with it, but the guy begs and she’s like “fine”, but when she goes to the procedure she finds another girl there for a similar reason. she sees the petrified look on the girl’s face and bolts out of the hospital. She goes back to her boyfriend rips the playboy out of his hand and stands up to him, how she’s happy with who she is and that she has power over herself. I usually hate remixes, but the remix to this is so amazing. It isn’t like the remixes are now a days that are simply to play in the clubs with, they add Left Eye’s rap to it, and anyone who knows Left Eye know she has mad rapping skills. It’s powerful in both forms, but I’d really go for the remix if I were you. “Find the reflection to be so damn unpretty” just adds to the effect. There’s also a full figured woman in it, and her walls are covered with bodies of models with her face cut on and pasted on them and at the end she tears them all down and shows how happy she is with herself, just the way she is. “Waterfalls” by TLC is a really powerful song addressing so many issues. How even thought a mother’s son does so many terrible things and go against his mother’s attempts to save him from trouble, she’s always there for him, but in the end he still ends up getting killed. The PV for this is so powerful, you see the kid who tried to make money for his mom (by selling drugs) get killed. They touch upon a rather serious issue of AIDs in a time when it was a problem(it still is a problem), they show how protection isn’t just for birth control, but can help prevent spreading deadly diseases. They also show that it’s not just guys who try to convince girls of not using condoms, since in the music video it’s a woman who takes the condom out of his hand. At the end of the video they show the mom walking home with only a faint shadow of her now dead son trying to hug her, but going right through her. They also show how the man died of AIDs and the woman who gave it to him. Of course I’m a sucker for Left Eye’s rapping “My only bleedin’ hope/Is for the folk who can’t cope/Wit such an endurin’ pain/That it keeps em’ in the pourin’ rain/Who’s to blame/For tootin’ caine into your own vein/What a shame/You shoot and aim for someone else’s brain/You claim the insane/And name this day in time/For fallin’ prey to crime/I say the system got you victim to your own mind” TLC is my hero for bringing up all the issues that stay behind closed doors.
Distraught father kills wife, 5 kids, self
This is just so tragic. Apparenty it’s not the first though, it’s the fifth mass suicide/murder of a southern california family in a YEAR, not even just california, but SOUTHERN california. “. He claimed that an administrator told the couple on Dec. 23: “You should not even had bothered to come to work today you should have blown your brains out.”" After they complained they were offered an apology but then fired two days later. Of course they go on to claim that they never told him to take his life, well, I dunno about you, but telling someone to blow their brains out pretty much seems like ‘kill yourself’ to me, since-uh, the funny thing about brains, if we don’t have them, we die. I just hate how things like this happen, they seemed pretty low economic wise, but they could at least tried for other options. Apparently the father faxed a TV station right before he killed himself, and that’s when the police were sent out, unfortunatly too late to actually do anything.
Since when did a women’s weight become newsworthy…?
A post be Ashlee Simpson in regards to the latest headlines about her sister Jessica’s weight and mom jeans. I must say I am quite impressed with Ashlee’s view, she really does have a point and I’d never thought I’d say it. I’ll be honest, alot of the Hollywood stars seem stupid and shallow and once in a while you hear someone say something true, but it’s usually nothing interesting, and of course it’s not news to me, but it’s just so weird hearing it from someone in such a line where how you look effects your job. “All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it. How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?” (Simpson, Ashlee) I must say that this is exactly what I’ve been ranting on forever and ever. People see things in the media and constantly criticize them, so then they feel the need to become thinner, prettier, look younger, etc. It’s appalling, because so many tragedies happen because of this, drinking problems, drug abuse, eating disorders, it’s nothing new, but it is a problem and it just feels like no matter how hard programs try to instill this feeling of “it’s okay to be who you naturally are” it just feels like the media is so much stronger and all around us , mostly because it is all around us and because of that it does have all that more power. So no matter how many people come up to the stand and say “it’s not right, we should be happy with who we are” there is always going to be that pressure telling us we need to be different, and by different I mean conform, but to an unnatural standard that simply isn’t healthy or human. All the more power to Ashlee, I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of her or her music, but at least she has the right idea when it comes to a women’s weight-that we all come in different sizes, and that it’s hard enough for self esteem with this society that we’ve all created, so there’s no point in making it harder, if anything we should just accept people no matter if they’re fat or thin.
Palin’s $180,000 Wardrobe stuffed in Trash Bags, not Donated
I am just appalled, but I can’t exactly say that I’m surprised by this in the slightest. Now some people would argue that Plain didn’t want the clothes to begin with, but then she should just donate it rather than just let it sit there becoming trash. if she really didn’t want it, it would be donated by now, not sitting around in trash bags. While some people leave stuff sitting around in trash bags for months to give to charity, it’s usually because they’re waiting for more things, this isn’t a personal home donating, it’s the RNC! They’re not doing a clothing drive so why on earth would be they waiting to donate the clothes. “Palin and the RNC insisted the clothing was “on loan” and would be donated to charities after the election.” Well, seeing as Palin isn’t using them, I think it means their lease is up and they need to do something with it. Think about it, this is a whole council putting this on hold, it’s not like they need to do actual work, they bring it to GoodWill and they’ll probably get a tax break or something like that and in the process it will benefit the less fortunate. I’d hate to think what would happen if she had gotten elected and the old man keeled over, even if he didn’t this is the whole party! This is the council that would be pretty much running things, can you imagine that? They can’t even bother to bring some clothes to GoodWill and put all their money into expensive brand names, that’s not what a president should be doing, I’m outraged. Normally I would just roll my eyes, but everyone is calling Obama an elitist while they’re clearly ignoring the whole Palin wardrobe, and I’m not even talking about the lie about them donating it. I understand presidents say things in hopes it will come true, but then something bad happens and it can’t be dressed but it’s clothes, they have total control over that. I’m talking about how the not exactly subtle news brought attention to how progressively more campaign money was being spent on clothes. What if you donated a lot of money in hopes for a better future, and then you realized that they blew, not just your donation, but hundreds of thousands of dollars on clothes. It’s like donating to save a child, when really you’re secretly sponsoring a shopping spree that doesn’t benefit them. Obama won, there are still racists out there, there are still people who don’t like the color of his skin and he still won! You know what that means? It means how you look isn’t going to win you the election, the only way you can win is by knowing what you’re doing and having people who actually like your plan for the future. Looks might be all you need in Hollywood, but in politics you need to walk the walk, and I don’t mean stick to what you say, I just mean be at least mildly consistent and not too hypocritical, you can’t just dress from head to toe in Louis Vuitton and except to win. I don’t care whether it was Palin’s idea or not, the fact is RNC bought the clothes and financed this perverse spending of money. Imagine if they got a hold of the government money, we would just be going down hill, but maybe that’s why we are where we are, because I really don’t think Bush really knew what he was doing. In my opinion, Bush was just a puppet being controlled by the party, and the party tried to get what it wanted at the expense of the country, and clearly they’re not being subtle about it with this wardrobe fiasco. At least donate the clothes you elitists! If the rest of us can do it, so can you!
Starbucks to cut back on decaf
And the first award of Cheapness goes to you my dear Starbucks, not only do you have ridiculous prices, stupid names for your serving sizes so people feel like $12 on a tall sounds like a $12 well spent, when really, it’s a small. You make movie theatres look like they have good deals on their food for those with a sweet tooth, you make anything and everything around seem significantly cheaper regardless of whether or not it’s actually a good price. You are not only doing the most nonsensical thing ever, but something so incredibly not approved by science! You’re cutting on decaf after 12 PM? Well you know what? Studies show that people who drink caffeine after 2 PM are almost certain to have trouble getting themselves to sleep, and sometimes they wont be able to get to sleep at all! Starbucks is clearly part of the working conspiracy to make it so we don’t sleep and by not sleeping we’ll feel we need to do something at least mildly productive, see, it’s all a plan to make all of us work 24/7!!! Okay, exaggeration, I still think Starbucks is bull and that they over charge for everything! I have a solution, I’ll boycott them, starting year in advance, Woot! I’m doing well! I don’t like cappucinos or lattes or coffee…or even the smell, more power to me! I don’t run on teeth staining coffee! Oh, and for those who like milk in their lattes & cappu-what-o’s they’re cutting back on milk as well, YAY FOR BITTER THINGS! Except not, like, not even funny not.
Hawaii to ship Homeless back… home
Nooo, you Hawaiians are so cheap, keep your homeless people. They say it’s so they don’t have to spend money on them, but if they’re not spending money on the homeless, someone else is going to have to, and that means the continental US. their claim is a bunch of people head for Hawaii and then claim “stranded” but really, that could happen anywhere. Yeah, Hawaii is seen as a nice place, but so is Florida, and California, so Hawaii, just because you think you’re special, and I’m sure your mommy tells you that to, it doesn’t mean you are. If we can’t ship our homeless people, then you can’t either. Also, there must be some law against shipping people around, homeless or not. And it’s not like it’s solving the problem, even if you do ship them away they’re still going to be homeless people without jobs, you need to address the problem, not ship it away!!!
Has anyone read this yet?
Teen pleads not guilty to impersonating an officer
A summary of the story, a kid is being charged with impersonating a police officer. They realized he wasn’t a police officer-not because he was 14-not because his shirt was stuffed with magazines making it look like he had a bullet proof vest on, in fact, they didn’t realize he wasn’t a police officer until 5 hours later. Well, what happened in between that time? He “reported” for duty, was actually assigned a job with another officer to patrol, he never drove the car and he didn’t have a gun on him. I don’t know what scarier, that is a kid is that crafty-or the fact that the cops couldn’t tell that the FOURTEEN year old wasn’t a cop until 5 hours later.
They said the kid impersonating an officer was a “breach in security” I don’t know about you, but they couldn’t figure out the obvious, then there is no security. I can’t say I see the problem, the kid didn’t have a gun, didn’t drive the car, didn’t give out tickets or anything like that, if he could fool trained police for that long then police really need to up their training, because as far as I’m concerned this is just ridiculous. I think those police men really need to retrained, I mean he reported for duty! You think they’d check IDs or even have a list of names at least, I mean, if I walk into the police station with a uniform on and ask if I can patrol will they say, “Sure, of course you can! Here’s a buddy to drive you around in this awesome police car! Don’t forget to play with the lights and pull people over!” I can’t say I feel safe knowing that my life could end up in the hands of a 14 year old boy pretending to play cop, because if the real cops couldn’t tell the difference, why would I? An average citizen who doesn’t know the quirks/rules of being a cop. If he’s taking to long to reply he could be creating tension hoping for me to snap, or he could be making something up-why would I know? I’ve never been stopped and where I live you don’t see officers walking around, just their cars-for all I know they could have propeller hats as part of their uniform. Obviously that would be going to an extreme, but they only noticed after they realized he didn’t have a regulation star after the patrol, why didn’t they just check to make sure everyone at least had the star, how hard would it be to show a star? It didn’t matter then, it was like he wasn’t caught at all, he went did his, uh, job and then was going to go home, if no one noticed the star, he would’ve just performed the duties of an officer without actually being one, or even being of age. The average age for even joining the Police Academy is 21, that’s not being a police officer, that’s just getting the training done. He wasn’t even 18! He wasn’t even a legal adult, he can’t even get a vaccine without his parents permission! How do you mistake a 14 year old with someone over 20? I’ve heard of people looking older than they are, but that’s just ridiculous, no one could make a 7 year mistake-especially during those years when people develop the most, and I doubt his voice dropped, that should’ve been the first clue, I know not every boy’s voice drops at the same level but they sound like girls, they really do, unless he’s smoking all the time, I only say that because all the damage it does to your lungs gives the effect that your voice is deeper, I find it ironic considering what’s really happening to the lungs. Does a 14 year old boy who has all these dreams of becoming a police officer even have the ability to realize what he did was wrong? I don’t think so, he really wanted to be one, so as I see it, he took the initiative to get some training in, I didn’t realize there was a Police Academy until one of my step-siblings started talking about it, I knew there was training and what-not, but the kid probably didn’t know. He probably looks at what he did as a way to get in, being able to say, “Yes, I’ve been on a patrol before, I know what you do and what it looks like”.What I’m not sure is the “he hit me” claim from his mother, if her kid ran away and she filed a charge, chances are he would’ve been arrested on the spot, since he was charged for something I suppose or would have to face the claim against a judge or something like that. This would allow her to get her son back, since although it’s a bad charge, it’s not something like “he took a knife out on me” or anything like that, also the person he was staying with claimed that the kid wasn’t violent and actually well behaved. Also, neither of his parents showed up for the court date, and it seems his mother is a trigger for problems, there’s probably something up with the parents. I’d check up on them because locking the boy up or anything, and really! Do something about those cops!
Anyway, I just left a brief comment at the article
“I know the kid was in the wrong, but really? Did it REALLY take THAT long to realize a 14 year old wasn’t a cop? As far of the “This is a breach of security” that’s the police’s fault, they should be able to tell who is a cop and who isn’t, I mean, how are we to feel safe knowing there are minors running around pretending that they’re cops, how can we tell if the cops don’t tell? There should be standard ID checks, it’s not like he was just walking around, he was ASSIGNED with another officer! Forget the kid, make tighter security for cops!”
You should really check this post out, it’s hilarious, it’s about peoples reactions to realizing you don’t eat what most people see as common (such as pizza,, etc.) it’s really funny

Has anyone read this? “Show me the economist…“
This is what Pelosi said, ““…this is a, to stimulate the economy, is an economic recovery package and as we put it forth we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy. Food stamps, unemployment insurance, some of the initiatives you just mentioned. Believe it or not, they’re the right thing to do but they also stimulate the economy,” Pelosi told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week,” who unsurprisingly didn’t press her on how exactly she deduces this notion.” And this is how the poster interpreted it “In Pelosi’s world, less mouths to feed equals less money states will have to spend. Show me one economist that says that we are in an economic crisis because of a birth control shortage, or one that says more contraception (aka: population control) will get us out of it faster. What’s next? Federally funded euthanasia?” and I cannot forget this part “It’s one thing to be pro-Choice; it’s another to spend tax payer money on abortions at home — and abroad — in the middle of a financial crisis.” Really? Abortions? Okay, so Birth control makes it so you don’t get pregnant, not so you get pregnant, have a living thing in your stomach and then kill it. No, it doesn’t kill anything. If you’re having trouble understanding this, think of it this way, you don’t get pregnant every single time you have sex, it’s the same concept really, and just because you don’t get pregnant every time you have sex doesn’t mean you’re having an abortion everytime. I mean really, imagine if people did get pregnant every time they had sex, there’d be a shit load more to worry about than the economy. And really, less mouths to feed would help the economy, because there would be less people to take care of, that means less food stamps, less housing to worry about, less everything to worry about, it’s expensive to keep humans up and living, so I think Pelosi has a point. While some people aren’t pro-birth control, the fact is, not everyone can afford to get pregnant, and don’t just assume they’re a bunch of cheap teenagers looking for a good time. It could very well be a married couple that simply couldn’t handle having another child. It’s really ridiculous what people think these days, birth control, learn about it. Something tells me that he had an Abstinence Only course, which doesn’t tell you how to protect yourself from STDs or how to prevent pregnancy. I like these comments from the article that spurred the other blog’s post
Mari from Salt Lake City, Utah writes:
Having birth control either covered by Medicaid or by one’s health insurance will save our nation millions if not billions! But it’s not enough to hand out birth control pills, etc. We need to educate women, especially the poor, undereducated women in our cities and rural areas. If poor women would use birth control responsibly we would cut the cost of welfare moms and, for the Pro-Life folks, cut the number of abortions. Pelosi is right!
Melanie from Iowa writes:
She knows what she’s talking about. As many of us remember during the barrage of Presidential commercials, many people with financial woes give up medicine first. Helping provide birth control is a cost saver to the government in the long run.
See, these people know what they’re talking about, and they really know what they’re talking about, want to know why? Because they’re both woman and have to deal with the situation unlike men who-guess what? Don’t get pregnant, or have to worry about it they way a woman does, i.e. her body changing, her lifestyle changes that need to be made to take care of the living thing inside her. Really, it might seem ridiculous at first, but I think Pelosi actually does know what she’s talking about, although we have plenty of stupid people in the government, and they all tend to do really stupid things, I think Pelosi actually does know what she’s talking about. It’s not some man preaching about how abortion is wrong-he would never survive pregnancy, he’d probably go through and be like “GET THIS THING OUTTA ME NOW!!” Ha~!
I love this comment
| Robin | January 26th, 2009 5:49 pm ET Hellooo?!! Many insurance policies cover (that cover Viagra) DO NOT cover family planning services, ie. birth control pills. Many, many families and individuals need to pay for birth Only a man could fail to see this. |
Did I not just totally say that?
Also, don’t give me that “Elite” crap, it’s not the “Elite” it’s anyone who can’t afford another birth, it costs roughly $289,380 and this was before the economy and the dollar went down while everything else got more expensive. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a spare $300,000 to spend on a-dare I say it? Mistake. and I have no guilt, I was a mistake myself, why? Because the country didn’t allow birth control, oh how convenient, if that doesn’t explain my opinion than nothing does. Let’s not forget the fact that public schools can be so demanding on how people organize their things, I’m a senior in high school and they still say “No, you need a 3 ring binder, this thick,” etc. One class even made everyone have the same color how ridiculous is that? I think if you’ve found a way to organize your stuff, people shouldn’t force you to change, if you’re getting your work done, I don’t think it matters. I’d understand if there was a special protocol and that they would provide you with things if you didn’t have it, I mean come on it’s a freaking public school, not one for the rich and famous who can afford anything and everything! I think if one can organize just fine with a spiral notebook and god damn it let them use it, just because the teacher has trouble organizing with it doesn’t mean the kid will. In fact I actually have quite difficulties with binders, they always end up terribly messy and confusing and there always so many tabs, just oh so many tabs, it’s ridiculous, just let me use a folder and put them in an order I want to, because if you’re not gonna carry my school stuff, you have no say in telling me what I have to carry. and don’t give me that locker crap, those things are always getting broken into, and yeah, maybe they don’t want my Spanish homework, but I’m gonna get fined if it gets busted. If there’s any “Elite” it’s teachers who think they have the right to control their students like Puppets.
So, a random channel that all o f my friends seem to have except me is called G4. There this show called “Ninja Warrior” and it’ the dumbest thing in the world, it’s originally called “Kunoichi” and from Japan so at the bottom is has subtitles. I was watching it and all of a sudden I see Abe Natsumi’s little sister, Asami. I was like “WOW~ I know her!!!” it was awesome, and then she plunged into the water seconds later. Sigh. I looked it up and just as I had thought she really was in the series. It was nice seeing her face though, since you usually don’t see names like that on TV at home.
You wont believe what just happened, so, I was trying to organize my binder of cards (pokémon) and I looked at Mamoswine and Porygon-Z, right? They’re each supposed to have different numbers on them because they’re different species, but guess what? They both said no. 474!!!! It was tragic, turns out Mamoswine is supposed to be 473 and Porygon-Z is 474. Then I got these other pokémon cards, the really old ones that are made of plastic, and all of them had one pokémon on the front with that same pokémon information on the back, right? So I look at absol and was like “Wow! Absol! How cool!” I turned to look at it on the back and it was WHISMUR!!! WHISMUR!!!! Can you believe the nerve?
Also!!! Eye Legacy comes out tomorrow, and according to iTunes there’s also a nonmix version of Lisa’s “Block party” and Legend doesn’t mention anyone singing the song.
“Eye Legacy” is coming out this year January 27, it’s a tribute album dedicated to Lisa, a percentage of the profits will go to the Lisa Lopes Foundation and to her orphanage in Honduras.

Here’s the tracklist:

Is it just be or does anyone else see the terrible addiction that Americans have to this substance. I mean, we have energy drinks, coffee, sodas, and “super power” energy drinks. All I see is “We can’t waste the time to sleep, so let’s fix it with caffeine” and it’s just such an American tradition. That’s what bothers me the most. Do people realize it’s a drug? People have gotten addicted to it, most people already have some sort of reliance on it, think about it, most people wake up and have a cup of morning coffee, because it help wake them up. Of course it helps them wake up, it’s full of Caffeine and that’s a stimulant. Most people don’t even realize the withdrawal effects of caffeine: sleepiness, feeling over time, terrible head aches. Having too much caffeine can cause the following symptoms: Anxiety, restlessness, dizziness, irritability, lack of ability to concentrate, trouble sleeping, constant headaches and GI aches. Let’s not mention caffeine can temporarily raise blood pressure, so this can be quite harmful to those who already have high blood pressure as a result of eating habits, genetics, etc. Some studies have actually found that drinking 1-2 cups of coffee in a regular basis could have a negative effect on female fertility. It raises the level of fatty acids in the blood, causing it to be more thick, it causes the stomach to create more acid which in turn irritates the stomach lining. It makes digestion less effective, can hurt the quality of sleep you have, The American Medical Journal has found caffeine to decrease done density causing osteoporosis in women. Not to mention the more often we take caffeine the less effect it will take to wake us up, causing people to drink more and more of their caffeine of choice. Because caffeine gives people a boost, once that boost is gone, some people may experience a depressed state. If all of this doesn’t make you realize the effects of caffeine, realize this, it increases your hunger, which means if you’re on a diet you should forget caffeine because that’s only going to make you eat more and hinder your results. I really wonder just why people rely so heavily on this, they say it’s because it tastes good, but I’ve heard of too many people saying that they hate the stuff, but it keeps them up. If we need this so bad as a country that it’s just the social norm, then don’t you think we need to get some rest? Calm down a little and take a vacation, no one should be living on caffeine it’s not healthy at all, but I also think the culture is killing us, if anything, we need to slow down so no one has to take caffeine. I understand sometimes you just need to pull all nighters, but no one should be forced to take this on a daily basis just so they don’t fall asleep driving. That’s my 2 cents.
Side note, totally unrelated: Wealthy Men Give Women More Orgasms
This is just stupid, the only reason is that they don’t have to deal with financial stress, that’s a huge reason for divorce, the money isn’t coming in, it’s putting tension on everyone, people get blamed for “using all the money” on their “useless things” and then it just heats up from there, and not in the good way. Money problems cause less sex drive, stress, weight gain (due to stress), divorce, and just fighting and problems in general. Want to know the real reason why they’re getting more orgasms from rich men? Because they don’t have a damn care in the world, they don’t have to worry about paying the bills, living from pay check to pay check, deciding whether to choose between bargain brand and brand name (and sometimes the brand names really do mean things. For example, I got this off brand moisturizer once, it was so disgusting, it was clumpy and it felt like I had this thick, gross, sticky, slimy layer on my skin, needless to say I got Olay [haha, it rhymes]) It’s just the fact, and when you don’t have to worry about other things, you can allow yourself to focus on the dirty deed at hand, which is the real reason for the orgasms, because they can focus. Actually there are quite a many studies that show the reason why women have more trouble orgasming is due to the fact that their mind is designed to multi-task, so it’s harder to concentrate-which leads to… well… not orgasming. It has nothing to do with loyalty (I saw an article of people who thought it was due to loyalty, no it’s not)
