Resolution & Bit on BoA, Hikki, & Ice Creamusume

My new years resolution is to make a post at the very least once a week. So far so good… that said, it’s only day 3 and little snippets shouldn’t really count as a post, so here’s something mildly interesting.
BoA and Utada Hikaru are going to trying to break into the American Market (This’ll be Hikki 3rd try… stupid promoters didn’t promote her! I’m a HUGE fan and I found out over a month after it was RELEASED!!!! How is she supposed to sell ANYTHING when they keep it a secret, really?)

“Eat You Up” by BoA for her American debut has amazing choreography, it’s so precise. Her voice in some parts sound like a terrible attempt at rap AND singing at the same time, it’s not pleasant to listen to. The chorus is catchy and after 2:46 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd3EUedo4Rw) it’s a really good song (because she doesn’t do that weird voice thing) at 3:51 I love her dancing it’s amazing there.

Ice Creamusume’s First Album will be called 最棒! (1st Zuìbàng!) in Chinese, or 1st 最高! (1st Saikou!) in Japanese. (Or for those who don’t understand Japanese or Traditional Chinese it’s 1st Best)

I didn’t like the PV for Liàn ài dēng chăng, it looked really cheap, alot of people thought it was a fanvideo, because it looks like they made a movie with a Purika machine… seriously, it screams, “I don’t wanna spend any money!!” either that or “we have a free intern and we’re gonna use him/her” 芹瑜 (Qín Yú) I thought she was a really good dancer from New Star, the only problem I saw was keeping her hat on. That said, she reminded me significantly more of a Namie Amuro kind of style than a Morning Musume type, I also really don’t know how her vocals are.

Also, I fixed the time on my posts, I don’t stay up at 4:55 AM writing on this blog (I want to say ever, but I’m sure there will be a day when I do) but I realized the time was wrong and fixed it!!! Yay!

Also, I tried guitar hero on New Years Eve at like 11:55 PM, I was trying not to play it due to all the hype, it really isn’t all that worth it, I just got competitive after the first song, I only did 9 song and considering I was at my friends house for 24 hours, that really isn’t many, also you play in groups of songs (at least in the mode I was in) so I couldn’t say only one song.
