Oh my gosh, can this get any more amazing. Okay, like most girls I was a huge fan of the boy bands and no I actually couldn’t tell them apart. I remember I had the biggest crush on Lance Bass (but he’s gay T_T oh well. As long as he’s happy : ] ) And I’m a fan of Kingdom Hearts-or rather, the characters in Kingdom Hearts-more specifically the Final Fantasy characters, I could careless about the Disney characters and I’m know I’m gonna get killed for that statement. Okay so Lance did the voice of Sephiroth (from FFVII) in Kingdom Hearts!! You have no idea how happy this made me!!! I squealed like I was in 4th grade all over again!
Anyone see this?
Misconceptions of Obama Fuel Republican campaign 13 Oct 08
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRqcfqiXCX0
Their thoughts on Obama
People said – He’s related to a terrorist
-I’m afraid if he wins the black will take over
-They’re anti-white
-He thinks us white people are trash
-This is a christian nation
But Palin, she’s filled with the holy spirit
Obama apparently is a duck.
This is just a fucking joke, damn hicks can you believe this? Honestly? The thing is I really don’t want to call them hicks but they’re scream stereotype. They’re anti-choice, religious nuts, believe all the ridiculous BS, one of them actually called him the N-word, etc. I mean really
I understand that they probably selected only certain people, but the fact that any ONE would say those things is just ignorant. Anyone who would believe such things is racist, they think they’re superior and think anyone of a different race has different intentions. I don’t believe in race, because really it’s just physical appearance, it has nothing to do with intelligence, whether they’re “born evil” or “born good”, race is a myth, as far as I’m concerned it’s only good for getting into colleges.
I liked this comment from RicoPetro: It’s one thing to want to support one of your own: women, gays, Yale grads, blacks, hispanics, lawyers, Irish, whatever the affiliation, but what we’re seeing is the hatred and mistrust of other groups or races and the McCain campaign, especially via Palin, are stirring up this fear – “pallin’ around with terrorists,” “he doesn’t believe in the same America as you and me,” No one from the Obama campaign that I’ve heard of are espousing the same vitriolic hatred and fear based on his race.
I really liked Danish333’s idea:I say we start a national program called Enlightened Enfranchisement… i.e. you aren’t ALLOWED to vote unless you have full, impartial understanding of both candidates and their views/prescriptions for the country. If you let hateful lying trash media shape all your views, then you’re an unquestioning, incompetent sheep and don’t get the right to vote until you educate yourself.
Because really, who can say that these people even understand the candidates? Clearly they’re either religious freaks or racists. Just to clarify- I have nothing against religious people, unless it causes people to hate or fear people without a rational reason, saying “OMG He’s bLacK Imz a gonna PHEEEAAARRRRRR hIm ‘cAuse Blk Peple ArEn’T hole-ie deyZ be sInFOOL” is just stupid. Or even “He thinks us white people are trash” first of all, learn your grammar if you’re going to bash someone on TV, “He thinks that white people are trash,” not “He think us white people are trash,” you sound like a hick, and hick isn’t a good term. It’s, well, according to Urbandictionary.com
A derogatory slang term for lower class whites raised in rural areas, usually within trailer parks or hog farms. Generally used more for Midwesterners than Southerners. General defining characteristics of a hick: Protestant upbringing, usually Baptist; racist and sexist opinions; does not attend collage ; dumber than a post.
The people were definitely racist, clearly didn’t attend college and were obviously dumbed than a post, not to mention you could see the farm animals in the background-it wasn’t a zoo, they were farms and what not.
I made a poem while I was eating beef stew, it’s me making fun of poetry (ignoring the fact that I actually do enjoy poetry quite a lot)
I thought I saw a potato
So I stabbed it with a fork
Turned
Out it was
croissant
It’s ridiculous the expectations that students have to live up to nowadays. First of all you need to get B’s or higher, you are expected to have a job and be paying for all your clothes and pretty much everything except housing and electricity bills, etc. Then we’re expected to participate in every single family function with a smile. It’s ridiculous. One day before break we’re told, “You have a minimum 10 page paper, meaning if you do less than 10 pages you get an automatic F, don’t worry about it during break, it’s 50% of your grade and if you fail it you can’t graduate, but don’t worry about it during break.” It’s due 3 days after we come back from break, we had to synthesize every topic that we’ve covered in a thesis we get no help on. We need a works cited-which makes sense. But then we had to do a annotated bibliography, which of course is like a works cited, but you need to have a paragraph for every source with the main theme in it. I’m not talking about 10 or even 20 different sources, I’m talking about trying to recall 50 on top of doing all your other classes work, which also require lots of readings. Needless to say it’s exhausting, and even if you’re sick on the day it’s due you get points off for not turning it in. Some non-English teachers have even threatened their students. There was a French teacher who demanded that all Seniors be present that day-because the essay is so famous for being a huge pain in the ass.
