I want to arrive some place
Where to find it, that here is desire
I want to live and to decide in where to be
Already it’s not a game
To live all of my dreams
15 years and I don’t go to hope
and now I would like to reach the sky, the sun
and nowI know that it’s the moment to start
and to listen, my 15 in liberty
There are 1500 memories
that now I reveal to wake up
I want to look, I go to find,
and to wake up to a new world
where I’m to the end, able to live
In the place, that I desire more
To feel all my dreams
15 years I don’t go to hope
And now I would like to reach the sky, the sun
and now I know that it’s this moment to start
and to listen my 15 in liberty
There are 1500 memories
That now I reveal to wake up
And now I would like to reach the sky, the sun
and now I know that it’s this moment to start
and to listen my 15 in liberty
There are 1500 memories
That now I reveal to wake up
and now I know that all I’m able to reach
and now I know that it’s the moment to start
and to listen my 15 in liberty
there are 1500 memories
That now I reveal to wake up
If you feel sad, and all goes bad
you owe yourself to always think
that your have a friend in who you are able to confide
You and me always together, they can’t stop us
You are the person that helps me
it’s our destiny that we support
To that you and Me, Friends forever
We find a grand finale
You are someone in who to confide
We go together, already we go
Looking for happiness
They go and approach a little more
Friends forever until the end
Fighting for liberty
You and me forever together, without looking back
This is the manner of reaching liberty
It already takes my hand, you have that to confide
You owe yourself to always think
That you and I, the two, friends forever
Fighting for a place
You are someone in who to confide
We go together, already going
Looking for happiness
They go and approach a little more
Friends forever until the end
Fighting for liberty
Against the fall you owe to fight
Friends forever
Friends forever
Against the wall you owe to fight
You and me until the end
You and me always friends
You are someone in who to confide
We go together, already going
Looking for happiness
They go and approach a little more
Friends forever until the end
Fighting for liberty
You are someone in who to confide
We go together, already going
Looking for happiness
They go and approach a little more
Friends forever until the end
Fighting for liberty
I was at work and I was talking about a dance project we had to do, and she asked, what song did you choose. I told her We (another friend of mine, and myself) had done a song called “Hypnotic Dancefloor” and of course the next question is “Who is that by.” and I mention BoA, but of course there’s another friend of mine there and she thinks I’m talking about the UK band Boa (they sang “Duvet” the opening theme for Serial Experiments Lain!!!!) and she actually mentions how she likes their song “Duvet” of course I immediately correct her and explain that Boa is a UK band, meanwhile I’m talking about BoA the Korean Singer who recently debut a US album in America, of course she couldn’t careless bout that because I’m sounding more than a little arrogant in the way I’m telling her. (Like I’m a know-it-all or something of that sort.) I didn’t mean to sound like that, it just comes out when I get excited…
Apparently there’s a Duel Masters “abridged” on YouTube, which from what I’ve heard about the “abridged” series is they take anime and butcher it and fill it with poor voice acting, terrible jokes and make fun of the whole series. The thing is… Duel Masters already does that,
ex. “It’s a Man Purse!”
“How do you know that?”
“’cause I’m an evil Genius”
“I thought he was gonna hurt you with his spikey hair”
“I missed a hair appointment for this!” (said by an evil guy…)
I mean, the anime is awesome in the fact that it makes fun of itself… apparently, from what I’ve heard anyway, the Japanese version is a lot more serious, and as much as I hate American Companies (or any companies really) butchering shows, I think this was for the best… sorry… but I couldn’t imagine an abridged version, I’m gonna check it out now though… anyway… it was almost 9 minutes long…. I got to 4 minutes before I thought my brain wasgoing to completely liguify, turn to slush, and then rush out of my ears…. needless to say, stick with the “real” series it’s a Hell of a lot funnier (AKA don’t bother with the abridged series).
There’s this song called “The Mario Love Kart Song” and it’s an original by a man named Sam Hart, it started as a Youtube video, but it got so many compliments it was put on iTunes, (for $0.99) but it’s so worth it. It’s one of the cutest songs I think I’ve ever heard. I haven’t played Mario, but I hear a lot about it, so I knew what he was talking about. It’s such a cute song, I showed it to one of my friends earlier today and she thought it was just adorable.
Yes, this is a nonsense post, well, it’s more of a “I LOVE THIS SONG!!! IT’S ADORABLE!!!” kind of post…
You be my princess
I’ll be your toad
I’ll follow behind you
on rainbow road
Protect you from red shells
wherever we go
I promise.
Noone will touch us
if we pick up a star
If you spin out
you can ride in my car
When we slide together
we generate sparks
in our wheels and our hearts
The finish line
is just around the bend
I’ll pause this game
so our love will never end
Let’s go again
The blue shell is coming
so I’ll go ahead
If you hang behind
it’ll hit me instead
but never look back
cause I’m down but not dead
I’ll catch up to you
Don’t worry about
Bowser or DK
Eat this glowing mushroom
and they’ll all fade away
to the mushroom cup
and the flower cup
and the star cup
and the reverse cup
walalalalala
walalalalalawaluigiiiiii
“Dance, Dance this Cumbia” Baila, Baila Esta Cumbia – Selena
I feel something that moves me, a rhythm
that makes me dance
They take everyone’s partner
Everyone, we go to enjoy oneself
dance, dance this cumbia
Move, move the waist
everyone, the hands up high
and they scream, scream with madness
Dance, dance this cumbia
rhythm, rhythm without equal
No one remains sitting
Everyone, we go to dance
“Like a Flower” Como la flor – Selena
(note, there was one line I couldn’t translate)
I know that you have
a new lover
however
I want the best for you
If I don’t find
Happiness
Maybe someone more
She gave it to you
Like a flower (like a flower)
With so much love (with so much love)
You gave me you
It withered
I left you today
I was losing
Pere ay…
Like it hurt me
Ay…
Like it hurt me
If you saw how it hurt
To lose your love
With your goodbye you take
my heart
I don’t know if it’s possible
to return to love
because I gave you all of my love
That was possible to give
Like a flower
“Light Without Gravity” Luz Sin Gravedad by Belinda
Alone remembering
While the seconds are passing by
I don’t know how you’re able to forget
It falls, the rain in the window
drawing your glance
An instant is an eternity
I am sad of dreaming without you
confusing reality
and not know if you’ll return
Without asking me anything more
If it could be real
There would no longer be darkness
In every history there is an end
In every love there is a lack of affection
In every encounter there is an illusion
We are so much people, alone and different
Waking up with you until death
and I don’t know if you will return
to love me and to wait
Without asking me anything more
if it could be real
There would no longer be darkness
and I don’t know if you will return
to love me and to wait
Without asking me anything more
If it could be true
There would no longer be darkness
Only light without gravity
If it could be true
There would no longer be darkness
There would no longer be darkness
Alone remembering
While the seconds are passing by
I don’t know how you are able to forget
Okay, so apparently a German food company made chicken fingers and called them Obama fingers. But then other people are saying that this company is racist. I don’t even know where the heck they’re getting this from. I think about it, and it’s almost like the people calling the company racist is racist. I mean, think about it, they said they were just paying homage to the relaxed American lifestyle (I don’t think we’re relax as much as casual, we’re always on the go, or so it feels.) I’d believe that, you know, a new start a ‘thank God Bush isn’t there anymore.’ and Yet, people are throwing fits because “It’s associating black people with fried chicken” Of all the things, I think this is an outrageous statement. Or rather, just a ridiculous one. My reasoning for calling the people racist (rather than the company) is because they see Obama and immediately think ‘black’. If it was a white person people wouldn’t see it as “associating white people with friend chicken.” It would simply be a name like “bush’s baked beans” or “Long John Silver’s SeaFood” but no, everyone knows Obama is black, everyone made a big deal about it. Now that people actually want to name food after him it’s ‘associating that food with black people’. Anyone really know the history of fried chicken in the states? It was in the south and was typical slave food, that’s why it’s associated with blacks, because that’s where it began. Now people call it Soul Food in order to break away from those stereotypes. I knew it came from slave food, but just because I’m eating fried chicken I don’t go, “This is Black food” or “This was slave food” if I step back and think about it, I can recall, ‘Yes, it did originate in the South as typical slave food’ but I don’t think about it every time. I know it because it’s history, simple as that. By calling the people racist for putting Obama’s name on it is simply ‘The Red Scare’ all over again. Which America seems to do when it comes to race or religion. How do we say it “politically correct” You can’t mention Santa! You can’t say why there’s a break in December, it’s simply Winter Break, not Holiday break, (even though more than one religion has celebrations in that month) It’s ridiculous. It’s from freedom of religion, it’s fear of religion, fear that we might offend someone, their beliefs, etc. And it’s ridiculous, because no matter what you do, you’re always going to offend someone, that’s just how the world works, but what really annoys me is when people do feel insulted because some teacher put up a Santa thing for winter, ignore the fact they also put a Christmas tree up, a menorah, and a million other designs up, no, it’s Santa that needs to go, because the idea of a Fat man being jolly and giving gifts to children who are good just may corrupt my child. Because my child knows how evil Santa is, right? No, it’s the parents, it’s always the parents. It’s the parents that say what’s good for their child or not. If you think the parent is always right, read A Child Called It by David Pelzer. Read it completely, don’t just skim, then come back and tell me that the mother was completely in the right, that she did the right thing and everything she did was best for the child. Then we’ll take you away to the mental hospital because no one deserves to go through even half of that. It’s an amazing book by the way, never read it in one sit, I doubt anyone could handle that unless they had a heart of stone. Anyway, I’ve gotten completely off topic, and I guess my point isn’t “This is stupid” it’s more “this whole thing is stupid”. Parents over react thinking that their child being exposed to other cultures and religions and other ways of life will harm their child permanently. you can’t keep a kid in a bubble, there was some article a week or two ago about a Kid who had his organs harvested before he was officially claimed dead, apparently the kid was there because of a serious injury during snow boarding and a comment from one mother was “Her first mistake was 5 years ago letter her kid snowboard to begin with, it’s dangerous” Well. if that’s the case, the kid shouldn’t even be allowed to breath, because God for Forbid there are toxins in the air! That’s dangerous that stuff could cause asthma. And forget about drinking water “you don’t know what’s been floating in that stuff” and don’t even think about walking outside “What if a Horse or Car run you over! you’re dead!!” Oh dear oh dear, the moral? Well, it’s shut up and let your kid experience life. There’s an obesity problem, so saying “No, exercise might kill you, I’d rather you die a slow death with high blood pressure and heart attacks as you laze out on the couch because I wont let you do anything” it just stupid. It’s counter-active. I think I said that wrong, but the point is, you can’t keep kids in a bubble, you might want them to be in a bubble, but they wont allow it. Because they need to realize that there are other people out there, and they are different then them. Being exposed to different people as a child makes you think they’re like anyone else, and nothing to fear, because there isn’t anything to fear from people different than you. There are obvious things, like murderers and rapist and etc. but just because someone has a different religion or is a different race doesn’t mean they’re going to rape your child! I mean, I find it so ironic, I hear all this stuff about Christians fearing other religions and yet I’ve seen so many articles about Christian leaders of the church and what-not doing terrible things to kids. I guess when a kid says “God has touched me,” you can’t just assume they mean God has had a positive impact in their life, it could mean… well… I made it pretty obvious, didn’t I? What I’m saying is people hurt each other, but race, religion, and other factors don’t mean that they’re bad people. In fact, not understand other religions and cultures could make bad people, because they don’t understand the other race, then they fear it and then we have the civil war all over again, I’ll tell you one thing it sure wasn’t civil.

Fish and… Trash? How about, not?

This is actually a comment to a comment. In a nutshell the article was talking about a man who had lost his cell phone at the beach, but then got a call a week later from a fisherman who had found the phone inside a fish he had caught. I don’t even know where to begin, this is just one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a while. Of course a lot of the things that I’ve been hearing lately are depressing, such as abuse cases, missing children, homicide, suicides, etc. but that’s what happens when you watch E! and something along the line of “the Dangers of Dating” everything from meeting a serial killer to kidnappers found on chat rooms. Anyway, I know plenty of phones that are just crap, but I bet people who read this article are going to think a little more highly of Nokia. Some phones just die if they get wet, but this one actually survived being eaten by a fish that swam for a week with it in its belly before it got caught. Of course it’s not just the physical thing that stayed in contact (which really isn’t all that impressive unless you use the “high fashion” phones which are thin and break so easily. The ones that are clearly there for the sake of looking pretty-not the sake of actually working) it worked, the person could make calls. Apparently after he got the phone back and it worked for a while and he still uses it, apparently a while later he had to replace the circuit board, but still I must say that’s still a pretty sweet accomplishment by Nokia. I just love how the commenter ends though, “Of course, the second point almost goes without saying: Cod will eat anything.” I must say quite a fitting ending. Of course I must say that personally I’m more of an LG girl, I like Samsung, but as far as overall personal perfection (meaning phones that are perfectly suited for me, the LG is perfect). I don’t even know how to start this, Tammy Bruce, who was filling in for Laura Ingraham (who I’ve never heard anything positive about) called Michelle Obama trash. That’s right, this Miss Nobody called the First Lady Trash. I cannot the believe the nerve. Apparently Mrs. Obama was talking to girls about doing well in school and this Miss Nobody on the radio talk show said that Mrs. Obama was mocking them or something to that extent. Mrs. Obama was telling the girls how she got made fun of, and that people told her she ’spoke like a white girl’ but that it didn’t matter to her, she didn’t even understand what ‘talking like a white girl’ even meant. She said it didn’t matter what others says, she was going to work hard to get that A. And Miss Nobody (Tammy Bruce) was stuttering all the way home trying to make fun of Mrs. Obama. The fact is “Talking like a white girl” isn’t being racist, we’re a country obsessed with being politically correct and it’s annoying sometimes, you can’t say a damn thing without offending somebody. (Which is why I like blogging so much, it’s a way of communicating ideas any way you like without facing continuous attacks of “Treason” and “Racist”. The fact is race doesn’t matter to me, because I don’t recognize it, in fact even when I try to I always get it wrong, so what the Hell does it matter to me if someone is Black or White or Purple (I don’t know if that stands for something I’m just trying to obnoxiously prove a point) a person is their personality, not their skin. And from an Anthropological stand point (which is the study of Human Kind) there is no such thing as race, there are such things as where you come from, but race is just a myth. What “creates” a race is simply what we’re seen or been taught about them and they tend to be common traits amongst those people who live in that area, but it’s simply a matter of adapting to that region over thousands of years. The classic African being Black with a large flat nose? Well think about where they live, it was damn hot before air conditioning, and it still it bloody hot. The dark skin helps to protect them from the scaring of the blazing sun since there are so many deserts and finding shade isn’t as easy as finding it in the Amazon. The flat nose helps to keep from being burned badly as well. So it’s all a matter of adapting to that part of the world, which is why we associate race with certain places and why there are similar characteristics. If your whole ancestral line has been in Africa forever chances are you have some of these feature. But of course not all Africans are black, think about the Dutch in South Africa, they’re white, because their ancestral line adapted in a different environment, giving them characteristics that seem to be found in area where the Dutch adapted. Wow, I’ve gotten really off topic, but
I think the main point that I was trying to get at what the fact that from a Linguistics standpoint, Black English is something that actually does exist. It’s been called it’s “Own Language” like Old English, like Chicano (Xicano), etc. Of course there’s nothing wrong with either, but people tend to associate certain manners of speaking and certain accents with different traits. For example, most of the people (where I live mainly) when they hear a Southern accent, they think, not smart, hospitality, and hicks. Seriously, I asked people and my class had a whole discussion on it. People think of Southern Hospitality, but they also think of stupid farmers who dress in overalls every day and roll in the mud with pigs. Now having family in the south I know people who can shift from a New England Accent to a Southern Accent, (being raised in the North and living their life in the South) she doesn’t farm, she has a little garden, but most retired woman tend to (well, if they can afford it and have the space and the energy to keep the maintenance.) She sings Karaoke, and lives next to a woman who keeps ferrets in her basement and rides around on a motorcycle with frogs on it. As crazy as it sounds, she’s just a bit of a free spirit. The thing is though, is that she’s incredibly intelligent, she’s married to a doctor and aren’t anything at all like the negative stereotypes of Southerners, They certainly have that Southern Hospitality. the point is ‘talking like a _____’ whatever does matter, a lot of Politicians tend to use a bit of a Southern accent because it makes them more relateable (at least that’s what I was told, really I think it’s hilarious) but the point is people judge people on the way they talk. Anyway, the point is it was “White girl” talk it was just more of a New England/Northern way of talking, which I find to be a lot more uptight, less casual and more formal than the way they talk in the South. (There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just how culture is, Northern is more uptight than the South, I’m sure we can all agree on that, I think of South I think of a slower, calmer, more relaxing way of life)
Anyway the article about Ms. Nobody called Mrs. Obama trash is here: http://www.eurweb.com/story/eur51881.cfm
Most people didn’t like Ms. Nobody’s comments about Mrs. Obama, well who would? Mrs. Obama is saying “Do your best” and this other person is called Mrs. Obama trash because she’s trying to encourage intellectual growth in kids???
I guess that’s it… I really need to learn how to end things less abruptly…
