I was listening to the iTunes previews for BoA’s new album coming out in just a little over a week and for the 1st song, “I Dild it for Love” yes, seriously, that’s how it’s written, I think iTunes made a stupid title mistake, but really… that’s nothing new when it comes to iTunes. Buy anyway, I didn’t really hear BoA in it, I heard the guy that’s featured on the song, but I only heard a little bit of BoA in the background, and even then it was still hard to hear, since, well, the focus was on the guy singing at the time. I’m not really impressed with what I hear from “Energetic”, it sounds really monotone and it’s too repetative for me, my guess is that iTunes just picked a really shitty part of the song to listen to, because this happens when I listen to BoA (and a lot of artists when I’ve heard their previews on iTunes.) I’ll think “this really sucks” then I’ll go on YouTube to check out the whole song before I judge it and it puts that weird 30 second sample in context and it makes so much more sense. I might not like the song in the end, but I’m able to give it a lot more credit than when I had just heard the 30 second snippet. I like “Did Ya” it’s got a nice beat and I really like the beat and I love how the title actually relates to the song, just because sometimes artists will name a song and it has nothing to do with the actual song. I bet the whole song is gonna be awesome. I’m really excited about it. “Look Who’s Talkin” is just a weird song, it’s got a pretty generic beat, pretty boring lyrics, and then on top of it all, well, I can’t remember. It’s thr weirdest thing, I’ve been listening to the sample like 5 times in a row and can’t remember it… so that would pretty much mean it’s nothing special to the point of “it’s a not there song”  as in no one will remember it. Most albums have that though… you know, that one song no one remembers or listens to. Not because it’s really bad, but just because there’s nothing all that special about it… well, that song would be “Look Who’s Talkin” kind of sad really… next is “Eat You Up” AWESOME!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Okay, anyway, “Obsessed” is next, and it’s got a familiar beat, it sounds like some pop song that was popular not too long ago (like within the past year or so) but I just can’t place it. I’m just worried that if I’m right (that if it really is the same beat) that she’ll get chewed up and labeled a copy-cat no-talent. Which would really suck becaues she’s actually pretty awesome. Also, it would really suck for your first impression to be a negative one that breaks the law and stuff >.< “Touched” the lyrics are a little random, it’s like “i noticed when you lose weight” then “I wanna be touched” it’s like… what the hell do either of those have to do with each other? Really. It’s an okay song, whatever. “Scream” ooh, I really like this song, it’s got a good beat and I like how she used her voice, it like does quick stacatto like bits here and there. “Girls on Top” the English version of one of her Korean songs, which is AWESOME!! I love it in Korean and from what I’ve heard from the English version they really kept the beat perfectly and I love it!!! It awesome!! I’m so excited!!! Then “Dress Off” I don’t know, this is just such a disappointing embarassment, I don’t even know where to begin, it’s like…. Hell. It’s so stupid, the lyrics “Take my dress off” over and over… it’s terrible, it doesn’t even have a catchy beat or anything oh the humiliation!!! “Hypnotic Dancefloor” that’s gonna be a winner no doubt. I adored the beat it’s awesome and I can’t say I was really listening to the lyrics-because I wasn’t but it seems like the word flow was really on. YAY!!! The remix… I dunno, maybe if you’re high on some drug in a really loud club drunk you might like it, but when I listened to it, it made me really dizzy, of course that might just be me staring at a computer screen for almost an hour with no break. But I don’t think so. No really, I don’t.
